The Africa Help Foundation Providing Aid in Africa

What we do?

Africa Help Foundation founded in Poland in 2020, operates in Tanzania and Uganda focusing on projects that ensure access to essential healthcare, education and clean water.

We establish prenatal care centers, promote health education, and provide secondary and high school educational sponsorships. Additionally, we construct wells to support sustainable development in regions affected by water scarcity. Through these initiatives, Africa Help fosters long-term improvements in health and living conditions for vulnerable populations across the continent, empowering communities to achieve lasting self-reliance.

About the foundation

Learn more about us

We will change the daily struggles of mothers who cannot provide clean drinking water for their children. We will alleviate the daily hardships of entire families who have no place to wash or dispose of waste. We will do this by building wells in African villages.
Thanks to us, sanitation points will also be established.

Healthcare Projects in Africa

In 2022, in Oltotoi, Tanzania, we completed the first stage of constructing a medical clinic. The clinic will specialise in prenatal care and health education.
Currently, our most pressing challenge is acquiring equipment, such as an ultrasound machine (USG) and a foetal monitoring system (CTG).
Tanzanian authorities have signed a contract with Africa Help, through which the  our foundation will provide medical staff and furnishings for the clinic. With staffing shortages being a major challenge, we focus on sponsoring the education of medical staff.
Additionally, the site preparations are underway to ensure water access by February 2025. This includes constructing a pressure tower, drainage system, and a small septic tank.
We use a solar system to provide backup power in case of electricity outages at the medical facility.
Our goal currently is to secure funding so that we can open the Clinic by February 2025.

 Educational Sponsorship – Tanzania

We provide educational sponsorships for children in Tanzania, ensuring access to high school  education.  In the future, our Oltotoi Prenatal Care Clinic in Tanzania will employ local medical staff.
Currently, we are funding nursing studies for students from the Maasai tribe. Both the students and their families receive financial support to live near the school.
The annual cost of education is of one student is 3 500 EUR.

Educational Sponsorship – Uganda

We provide educational sponsorship for children in the Bidi Bidi camp. The youth attend a Ugandan secondary school with a boarding facility. Since there is no secondary school in the camp, young people are left to fend for themselves after completing primary education. Currently, we are supporting 17 children through sponsored education. This project has been running for two years, yielding excellent academic results and inspiring future aspirations.
In the near future, the camp is expected to transition into a permanent settlement.

Project: Water – Uganda

In Bidi Bidi, Uganda, the “Africa Help” Foundation constructed a deep well with a pressure tower, providing water to over 1,000 people, including children.
To complement this, the foundation also built basic sanitation facilities, including toilets, showers, preventing the contamination of water sources and reducing the spread of harmful pathogens.
The camp, which hosts refugees from Sudan, is facing significant health challenges due to the prevalence of typhoid, malaria, and other waterborne diseases.
Our goal is to secure funding for the remaining amount of 2400 EUR.

Project water – Tanzania

The foundation builds wells in areas affected by severe drought in Tanzania.
Logoyeti, a Maasai settlement in Tanzania, is currently experiencing a severe drought. During the short rainy season, villagers collect rainwater in containers, but it quickly becomes contaminated due to high temperatures. With no other water source within 100 km, residents are forced to drink unsafe water, which harbours harmful microorganisms. Project completed.
Africa Help has successfully developed projects financed by Polish individuals and entrepreneurs.
As our initiatives continue to grow, we are seeking a partner who shares our vision of empowering African communities and has experience in the African environment.
