When fulfilling the information obligations set out in Art. 13 and 14 of the general regulation on the protection of personal data of 27 April 2016 2016/679, the personal data administrator provides the following information:

  1. Full name and contact details,
  2. Purposes and legal basis for the processing of personal data,
  3. Type of legitimate interest pursued by the administrator
  4. Information on the categories of recipients of personal data and the possibility of transferring personal data to a third country
  5. Period of personal data storage and criteria for its determination.
  6. Information on the right to request the administrator to access personal data concerning the data subject, rectification, deletion or limitation of processing or the right to object to the processing, as well as the right to transfer data.
  7. Information on the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal,
  8. Information on the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office,
  9. Information whether providing personal data is a statutory or contractual requirement or a condition for concluding a contract and whether the data subject is obliged to provide it and what are the possible consequences of not providing data,
  10. Information that personal data collected automatically may be used for profiling.

Your personal data is processed on the basis of art. 6 section 1 letter a), b), c) and f) of the general regulation on the protection of personal data of 27 April 2016 2016/679, i.e .:

  1. Granted consent,
  2. Necessity to perform the contract or take action before concluding the contract,
  3. Fulfillment of the legal obligation incumbent on the administrator,
  4. Necessities for purposes resulting from legitimate interests pursued by the administrator or by a third website,

The data is processed for the following purposes:

  1. Conclusion and performance of the contract with,
  2. Implementation of the free newsletter service,
  3. Optimizing and increasing the efficiency of services provided by the Administrator,
  4. Fulfilling the legal obligation imposed on the “Africa Help” Foundation,
  5. Conducting direct marketing of own and third party services,
  6. Archiving,
  7. Pursuing claims,
  8. Displaying advertisements tailored to the interests of users,
  9. Profiling,
  10. Providing personal data to third parties cooperating with for marketing purposes,

Your personal data may be transferred and disclosed to advertising providers as well as entities cooperating with the “Africa Help” Foundation for statistical purposes and to perform analyzes for the purpose of improving the services provided. This is the implementation of the legitimate interest of the administrator. Then these entities become separate administrators of personal data.

 Africa Help Foundation will then publish a list of these entities. The “Africa Help” Foundation entrusts the processing of personal data to entities that support the provision of services, including accounting and IT companies. The entrustment takes place on the basis of a written law agreement that complies .

 Your personal data may be transferred to third countries, including the USA, if you use tools such as Google Analytics, etc., and if you connect your account with Facebook and Google+ accounts.

The period of storage of personal data depends on the type of data and the purpose for which they are processed:

  1. in order to perform the contract – 7 years from its conclusion,
  2. in order to provide the free newsletter service – until the consent is withdrawn,
  3.  for other purposes – for the period required to protect security and legally legitimate interests of the administrator, as well as justified by the fulfillment of legal obligations incumbent on the administrator.

 You have the right to:

  1. requests from the administrator to access personal data,
  2. demand their rectification, deletion or limitation of processing,
  3. objecting to the processing,
  4. data portability.

For this purpose, please contact the administrator using the means indicated above.

The administrator, without undue delay – and in any case within one month of receiving the request – provides the data subject with information about the actions taken in connection with the implementation of the above-mentioned rights. The administrator may extend the deadline by another two months due to the complexity of the request or the number of requests. Within one month of receiving the request, the controller informs the data subject about such an extension, stating the reasons for the delay. The data subject has the right to choose the form of communication, including electronic form.

If the administrator does not take action in relation to the data subject’s request, he shall immediately – no later than one month from receiving the request – inform the data subject about the reasons for not taking action and about the possibility of lodging a complaint to the supervisory authority and using security measures legal proceedings in front of the court.

Communication and actions taken on this privacy policy are free of charge. If the requests of the data subject are manifestly unjustified or excessive, in particular due to their constant nature, the controller may:

  1.  to charge a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information, communication or taking the action requested, or
  2. refuse to act on the request.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. However, this does not affect the lawfulness of the processing which was carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

Each person has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. Providing personal data is voluntary, but failure to do so makes it impossible to conclude a contract and use other services such as the newsletter.

Consent to the use of cookies and similar technology is voluntary, but its lack will not reduce the amount of advertisements you receive, but will only reduce their relevance to your interests and expectations.

Personal data collected automatically using cookies and similar technologies are not used by the “Africa Help” Foundation for profiling, but may be used for profiling by other administrators cooperating with the “Africa Help” Foundation

Cookies are a form of communication between the browser and the information system. This is small information that is stored for identification purposes but does not allow you to directly identify a specific person.

Information collected on the side of cookies is used for many mechanisms on the Internet, such as:

  1. Online shopping
  2. Collecting statistics on website visits
  3. Identification or the time spent on the website
  4. They support the display of advertisements.

 Cookies are available only on certain pages and it is not possible to download cookies that do not belong to a given website.

 We collect data on user activity on websites to which our counting system is attached. The data we collect concern the frequency of visits, category and subject matter of visited pages, in specific cases, clicking on ads or viewing them, data searches within websites, technical data about the browser and operating system, connection geolocation, demographic and personal data. We do not collect, use or process sensitive personal data (such as data on religion, political opinion, health, etc.), data that comes from websites designed for children.

The collected data is used for targeting, modeling and analysis as a result of these operations, profiles are created.

 The “Africa Help” Foundation processes data (and some of them are anonymized), as a result of which groups of profiles are created:

  • profiles that are the result of offline and online data – created on the basis of the provided offline data, such as weather and user activity within these areas,
  • mobile profiles, the way of using the Internet,
  • interest profiles – interests are based on the information viewed by the user,
  • demographic profiles – the data provided by the user on the registration forms is processed,
  • purchase intent profiles – based on the purchasing activity of users on the Internet
  • technological profiles – these are combined profiles of data on browsers, connection methods and the operating system.

The system of the Foundation “Africa Help” does not collect specific personal data, including sensitive, racial, religious and political. The collected data is informative in nature and it is not possible to identify the user directly. This privacy policy may be changed, about which you will be informed in advance.
